I was born in Norfolk Virginia, served three years in the Army, worked for the Post Office for quite some time, and found Jesus as Savior around 1981. I was privileged to hear professors from nearby CBN University preach the word of God at Calvary Presbyterian Church, along with the late Reverend Leon Wardell, who spent countless hours praying for me.
I moved to be near my mother in Cherokee, N.C. around 1989. I then felt the burden to write a devotional book, God’s Help Now! which sold about 500 copies. I have devotions printed in the Upper Room, The Secret Place, Penned from the Heart, and I wrote them for several years for the newspaper here in Loris, S.C. where I live now.
I expanded God’s Help Now! into Devotions A-Z, which after printing, had some punctuation errors. And that only inspired me to make another book, The Divine Way, which should be available soon.
I am now retired, and divide time between setting up this blog, playing cribbage and golf, and checking out the senior center occasionally.
